About The Un-Classifieds We're expanding our classified ads section on-line to include free classified ads for a week. That's right! Free classified ads on our website!
Here's how it works. Email us your classified ad listing by Friday at noon, and we'll post your ad to our website starting Saturday morning absolutely free for a week! If your item doesn't sell in a week, feel free to post again. The ads will run for seven days, from Saturday morning to Friday evening, and there's absolutely no charge.
Email your classified ad to classified@ncmonthly.com, or visit the website and fill out the form on-line under "Unclassified Ads." Remember, there's no charge for individuals to place an ad (Limit one per person per week, please).
If you'd like your classified to also appear in our print edition, check out the details below.
Businesses, you are welcome to advertise in our classified ad section as well. Rates are listed below. Those affordable charges get you an entire month of on-line advertising, in addition to your print ad. Or, buy a display ad of any size and get the classified ad free.
The Classifieds (print version): The Monthly offers a classified ad section in every issue. We're charging just $7.50 for 20 words (prepaid), plus 10 cents a word for each word over 20. Your classified ad is seen throughout Stevens, Ferry and Pend Oreille counties, plus in B.C.'s West Kootenays. And as if great exposure like that isn't enough, your ad is on the stands for an entire month, not just a week or days. Plus, it also appears on our website at ncmonthly.com all month long. What a bargain! Deadline for the print version of the magazine is the third Tuesday of each month.
For info, or to place a classified ad in the print edition of The Monthly, call 684-3109 or email today.
Sorry, we accept free on-line ads only via email or through our form at www.ncmonthly.com (click "Unclassified Ads"). No calls on the free on-line ads, please.
Use this form to place your free classified ad:
Please Note: If you have trouble using this form, you can always email the ad to: classified@ncmonthly.com.
The North Columbia Monthly provides news, views, humor and a calendar of events
for an area that stretches from Nelson in British Columbia south
to Spokane in Washington State and covers all points in between.
A free (and free-thinking, progressive) magazine, The Monthly
is available at several hundred spots throughout the region and
now is also available on-line at www.ncmonthly.com. Published once a month since 1994, The
Monthly is an independent magazine that often challenges
contemporary wisdom by encouraging critical thinking about issues
and attitudes in the region and beyond.
Featuring our one-of-a-kind "What's
Happening" department, The Monthly provides the
region's only all-inclusive, free listing of community events
and is the first place many people check to find out about area
arts, crafts, music, fairs, services and events of all kinds. Our free listing policy
for the "What's Happening" department promotes diversity,
cultural interaction, and the exchange of ideas and free expression.
Also featured in the magazine are people, food, health, humor, and feature articles that
keep readers coming back for more each month.
We can be reached by mail at The North Columbia
Monthly, PO Box 541, Colville, WA 99114; by phone or
fax at 509-684-3109; by email at editor@ncmonthly.com;
and on the Web at www.ncmonthly.com.
